Nature of the Service

This private reference site is independent of every government office. It does not store official records, confirm custody, release a person, submit a filing, or act for a requester before an agency.

Its pages identify Henderson County and Illinois custody-record resources and may connect visitors with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

You may use the site only in a lawful manner that respects other people and does not harm the service. In particular, you must not:

• Break a law through or in connection with the site
• Use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten a person
• Make hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decisions from site content
• Try to enter accounts, servers, or systems without authorization
• Operate automated bots, crawlers, or scrapers against the site
• Interfere with access or normal use by another visitor

No Consumer Reports

Henderson County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It supplies no background check, credit report, consumer report, or screening service, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use any material for:

• A decision to hire, retain, promote, or dismiss a worker
• Tenant selection or another housing decision
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit
• Any other purpose governed by the FCRA

Independent External Resources

Links may lead to release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control a destination's content, privacy practices, accuracy, or uptime. Review that service's own terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no promise about:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current state of information
• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• The absence of errors, defects, or security weaknesses
• The completeness or quality of a partner's search results

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Henderson County Sheriff, IDOC, a court, or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the greatest extent permitted by law, Henderson County Released Inmates and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the site.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or your breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Henderson County Released Inmates or the relevant content partner. You may not copy, distribute, publish, or alter those materials without prior written permission, except where law allows.

Suspension or Termination

Illinois Governing Law

Illinois law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Illinois.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected language will be adjusted only as far as needed to make it enforceable.
